Pune. Acoris is a 100% subsidiary
of Hikal.
Acoris Research Ltd. is a state-of-the-art
contract research facility with
special focus on chemical research
and development services.
Situated at the International Biotech
Park in Pune, India, Acoris is the
hub of contract research offerings
for discovery and process research
and is well equipped with synthetic-,
analytical- and kilo laboratories
(with up to 50 l equipment), including
a cGMP kilolab.
Acoris supports the clients in the
discovery and early development
phase of their products by means
of:
• Route scouting
• Small scale synthesis
• Scale up ( GMP/non GMP)
• Process research
• Analytical characterization/method
development
• Process safety data
The competence of the scientific
staff comprises concurrent as well
as advanced technologies like metal
organic reactions, chiral synthesis
or sugar chemistry. The scale up
laboratories are well equipped to
carry out these reactions on larger
scale including cryogenic &
high pressure reactions (presently
upto 20 bars).
The site has more than 150 scientists
in the first phase and is fully
integrated with the infrastructure
of the Biotech Park. It has its
own effluent treatment plant, standby
power generator and electricity
distribution system. All projects
are carried out under strict confidentiality
and protection of intellectual property
rights.
