Hikal has an R&D center in Bangalore with 6 labs managed by 50 scientists who undertake Contract Research for several leading innovator companies. We are expanding our offering by setting up a state-of-the-art Contract R&D facility at the Biotech Park, Pune. This 140,000 sq. ft. facility will employ more than 250 scientists and serve as our hub for drug discovery research support services.

Pune is an intellectual hub being home to several prestigious academic institutions such as the National Chemical Laboratory, National Institute of Virology and the Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, University of Pune.
