We are committed to environmental stewardship across the value chain. All our manufacturing sites are ISO-14001 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified. We keep wastes to the minimum and clean gases and effluents scientifically.

We have implemented solvent recovery processes and are in the process of implementing photo oxidation and conventional biological treatment for effluents. We have incorporated a Chemical Management system, enabling access to safety information for a vast database of chemicals.


Our R&D centers follow our policy of sustainable development. We strive to eliminate chemical hazards at the R&D stage itself.

Along with plant units, the staff carries out extensive HAZOP studies for each product and pilot plant batch. We also conduct a risk analysis before the construction of a new facility and modification of an existing one.

Process safety is a key thrust area. We assess our regulatory and business needs and identify EHS hazard information for all new processes.
