Baba Kalyani, Chairman
Baba Kalyani is a respected figure in industry circles. He is the Chairman of the US$ 1.5 billion Kalyani Group with businesses in steel, forgings and automotive components. He is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Forge, India's leading exporter of automotive components. Mr. Kalyani is a member of the World Economic Forum, Switzerland and the Common Wealth Business Council, UK. He has represented the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and is currently a member of the CII National Council.

Jai Hiremath, Vice Chairman and Managing Director
Jai Hiremath is founder of Hikal Ltd. He is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Hikal and Chairman of Marsing & Co. A/S, Denmark. During his 15 years of association with Hikal, the company has been lauded with awards and certifications for its management, quality, environment and safety control measures. In 2005, Mr. Hiremath was awarded the 'Chemtech Business Leader of the Year' award (Chemicals). He is also a board member of National Safety Council and Loss Prevention Association of India. Mr. Hiremath is a Chartered Accountant from England and has completed the 'Owner President Management Program' at Harvard University, Cambridge, USA.

Sameer Hiremath, Deputy Managing Director
Sameer Hiremath joined Hikal in 1996 as Executive, Planning and Coordination. He received training at Merck & Co., USA. At Hikal, Mr. Hiremath has held varied positions in the areas of Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing, Project Management and Information Technology. In 2003, he was appointed Executive Director of Hikal, responsible for all operational activities. Under his able leadership, the pharmaceutical division of the company was established and made rapid strides. Mr. Hiremath holds a Chemical Engineering degree from University of Pune and a MBA & MS degree in Information Technology from Boston University, USA.

Kannan Unni
Kannan Unni is a pioneer in crop protection and increasing the farm yield in India. Mr. Unni is the Chairman of Bilag Industries Pvt. Ltd., an export oriented agrochemicals joint venture company with Bayer CropScience, Germany. Formerly, Mr. Unni was the MD of Aventis Cropscience.

Dr. Peter Pollak
